I would like to inform the community that I have organized a community meeting in collaboration with City & Regional staff to address the pressing issue of flooding that has recently affected our neighbourhood. This meeting is set to take place on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at 6:30 pm, and will be held at the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre, Applewood Room.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide a platform for residents to voice their concerns, share their experiences, and discuss potential solutions to the flooding challenges our community is facing. We will be joined by City & Regional officials who will offer insights into the current situation, the steps being taken to manage and mitigate flooding, and future plans for improvements.
