The Region of Peel, in collaboration with their Consultant (Arcadis), has completed a Schedule B Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Cawthra Phase 3 Sanitary Trunk Sewer.
The preferred solution proposes an extension of the 1500mm gravity trunk sewer along Burnhamthorpe Road East from Cawthra Road to Little Etobicoke Creek and includes several upgrades to local sanitary sewers within the study area. The construction of the extension requires five (5) new shafts located along Burnhamthorpe Road East, with Shaft 3-4 being located at the north-east corner of the intersection of Tomken Road and Burnhamthorpe Road East.
