- Since the flood-related damage and erosion that resulted in the trail closure, the City has been working with the TRCA and the GTAA to evaluate restoration options for the corridor.
- A conceptual design has been completed, with several alternatives reviewed to address the bank erosion, trail stability, and public safety concerns associated with the site.
- Staff are advancing an approach that will address the stabilization requirements needed to restore public access to the trail
