Effective March 2, 2026 the Peel Police Foundation is accepting funding applications

The Peel Police Foundation is making inaugural investments with an initial strategic focus on programs and initiatives that support:

1. Youth in or at-risk of adverse safety, well-being or justice outcomes

2. Victims and survivors of human trafficking

Up to $400,000 is available. It is the intention of the Foundation to fund a minimum of four programs with this initial allocation. To be eligible, applicants must be a registered charity or a qualified donee under the Income Tax Act and in good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Deadline: Applications must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Only one application submission per eligible applicant will be accepted.

In addition to addressing a youth or human trafficking focus, the program or initiative must align with the overall objectives of the Foundation and address all requirements in the Foundation’s Funding Guidelines. This includes program requirements (Section 3) and applicant eligibility requirements (Section 4).

Applicants are encouraged to thoroughly review the Guidelines before applying. All requests for funding must be made through the Foundation’s application for funding. Questions can be directed to the Peel Regional Police Operational Liaison at info@prpfoundation.ca.
