Good afternoon,
The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation ride will take place on Saturday, June 13. At this time, there are no full road closures in effect. There are some lane closures in the earlier stages of the ride, but residents will be able to enter and exit their properties when there is a break in cycling traffic.
Cyclists will ride in the curb lane, which will be closed to vehicular traffic. Here is a link to the full route, which also shows where Peel Regional Police will be present.
The lane closures are as follows:
- Bloor St – 5:30am-10:30am

- Westbound curb lane closed from City of Toronto boundary to Bridgewood Dr
- Ponytail Dr – 5:30am – 10:45am

- Northbound curb lane closed from Burnhamthorpe Rd E to Rathburn Rd E
- Rathburn Rd E – 5:30am – 10:45am

- Westbound curb lane closed from Ponytail Dr to Fieldgate Dr
- Eastgate Parkway – 5:30am – 11:00am

- Northbound curb lane closed from Fieldgate Dr to Eglinton Ave E
- Creekbank Rd – 5:30am – 11:15am

- Northbound curb lane closed from Eglinton Ave E to Matheson Blvd E
- Matheson Blvd E – 5:30am – 11:15am

- Westbound curb lane closed from Creekbank Rd to Matheson Blvd (just east of Dixie Rd)
The timings include the setup and teardown of all materials. Cyclists will be present between 8:30am-10:15am through these areas. Teardown of the lane closures will start as soon as safely possible, and so might be finished earlier than listed.
Signage has been posted on the affected routes. Please note that the City of Mississauga is not involved in the planning or operation of this event – it’s a private, third party initiative. Any further questions should be directed to the PMCF.
