During City Council on March 19, 2025, I seconded a motion moved by Councillor McFadden to extend the new Flood Resilience Rebate Program beyond December 31, 2025. 🌊
The unpredictability and intensity of extreme weather events due to climate change poses a threat to public and private property in the future and this program extension would be beneficial to future residential property owners impacted by flooding.
