On Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 MississaugaGives is bringing GivingTuesday to the City of Mississauga.  After Black Friday and Cyber Monday—two days great for the economy—GivingTuesday is the Tuesday following both days focused on celebrating giving in all forms.  Started in 2012 by the United Nations Foundation, 92Y, and various organizations in New York City, GivingTuesday made its Canadian debut in 2013.  Two years later, GivingTuesday was officially celebrated in the City of Mississauga in 2015 by MississaugaGives, and the campaign is now back for a second year.

In partnership with non-profit and charitable organizations, local businesses and the citizens of Mississauga, MississaugaGives aims to encourage charitable giving across our city on GivingTuesday. Whether you choose to make a financial donation, donate gently used items, volunteer, donate blood, or give in another charitable way of your choosing, all of Mississauga will be giving this GivingTuesday.
