Fire Prevention Week is October 6 – 12, 2019 and Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services is reminding residents to practice their home fire escape plan. This year’s theme is “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape!”
When the smoke alarm sounds, everyone must know where to go – that’s why it is so important for everyone to have working smoke/CO alarms and to develop and practice a home fire escape plan.
To support Fire Prevention Week, Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services staff will be at various locations throughout the city to talk to residents about what they can do to keep their homes and families safe; full revised schedule below.
