The forecast calls for 15-65 mm between Wednesday and Thursday. Thunderstorms and an additional 10-15 mm are possible in some areas.

Lake levels are close to what was seen during the 2017 Lake Ontario High Water event, with the wind expected to produce waves over two metres.

These conditions will produce elevated watercourse levels and flows and may cause flooding of low-lying areas. All residents should keep children and pets a safe distance from all watercourses and structures such as bridges, culverts and dams. Elevated water levels, fast flowing water, and slippery conditions along stream banks continue to make these locations extremely dangerous.
