The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards are changing on January 1, 2017. This means that persons with cognitive, sensory, physical and mental disabilities, who experience barriers to taking conventional public transit in the Region of Peel, will now be able to apply for TransHelp service. At the beginning of 2017, TransHelp will launch a new website, www.peelregion.ca/transhelp – visit the website to stay informed of customer service upgrades and updates. Sign up to Connect2 Peel – the Region’s email newsletter now being distributed to over 85,000 residents on a monthly basis by visiting www.peelregion.ca/connect.
