As part of the Dundas Connects engagement process, an initiative called the Living Lab has bee developed to allow staff to creatively reach new audiences, engage the public, and to promote the Dundas Connects project to residents and other stakeholders.
1. Urban Green
This will include pop-up flower planters/greenery and a public art game leading people to waste receptacles. This feature will be adjacent to the bus shelter at the NW corner of Cawthra and Dundas Street from September 19-26, 2016.
2. Making Connections
The activation will shine a light on the many unique features that exist along Dundas, reconnecting pedestrians to the street by installing wayfinding signage.
There will be 18 signs around the Dundas intersections from Mississauga Rd to Dixie Rd from September 30 throughout October.
