The Federation of Canadian Municipalities is proud to announce that the value of the Women in Local Government scholarships has increased to $14,000 this year. The Mayor Andrée P. Boucher Memorial and Canadian Women in Municipal Government scholarships reward outstanding secondary school and university female students for their community involvement and their interest in municipal politics.
Ann Maclean Award
The Ann Maclean Award, which recognizes retired women municipal politicians who have shown exemplary service to their communities, is also open for nominations.
The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2016.
