Civic Centre Lights Up Purple in Support of World Mental Health Day

October 10 is World Mental Health Day, a day centred on advocating and raising awareness about mental health, anti-bullying and suicide prevention.

he City of Mississauga along with various municipalities worldwide are participating in the Light Up the World Purple movement. The Civic Centre Clock Tower will be lit up purple in support of the movement.

The campaign is intended to bring attention to mental health issues, while encouraging open dialogue and conversation for those who are suffering.
