During the week of June 1st to 5th, Forestry will be launching and Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Awareness Campaing to:
- Educate residents about the citywide impacts of EAB
- Inform residents about the measures the City is taking
- Provide information to residents about what they can do for their privately-owned trees such as contacting an ISA certified arborist for advice on their tree.
EAB Awareness Week locations for the week of Monday June 1 to Friday June 5, 2015
- Monday June 1: Clarkson Community Centre, 6 pm to 8 pm
- Tuesday June 2: River Grove, 6 pm to 8 pm – Twitter Chat, 7 pm to 8 pm
- Wednesday June 3: Mississauga Valley Community Centre, 11 am to 1 pm and Applewood Hills Tree Planting & Cleanup, Tree Tour 6 pm to 8 pm
- Thursday June 4: Malton Community Centre, 6 pm to 8 pm
