Let Your Green Show is back with a new set of actions and greenback coupons to help Region of Peel residents use less water and do something positive for the environment. The City of Mississauga, in partnership with the Region of Peel, City of Brampton, Town of Caledon, Toronto and Region Conservation and Credit Valley Conservation, launched the second phase of the campaign region-wide on March 22 – World Water Day. Here’s how it works: Do something, get something and turn your neighbourhood green. It’s that simple! Until August 31, Mississauga residents can pick an action such as installing a high efficiency showerhead and get rewarded with greenback coupons such as two complementary single visit passes to any City of Mississauga community centre. The ward that achieves the greatest participation in each municipality (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon) will win the Greenest Ward Award following the end of the second phase.
